Yes! We'd recommend checking with any nearby resellers to see if they stock the Chroma VND/PL filters.
General FAQs
Why would I get a VND/PL, instead of stacking a separate VND and polarizer?
Separate VNDs and polarizers will interfere with each other, typically resulting in cross-polarization. For more in-depth info, check out the article here.
Is the rotation of the polarizer meant to be tight?
Yes, so that the VND stop value can more easily be adjusted with one hand.
I lost the front/rear cap for my VND/PL, and I don’t see spares on your site. Where can I get a new cap?

Do the threaded VND/PLs have front threading?
No. A threaded VND/PL can be stacked on top of other filters though, if the other filters offer front threads.
Can I stack a separate mist filter with my VND/PL?
Yes! Stacking a mist filter with a VND/PL is a popular way to increase flexibility.
Are the VND/PLs compatible with stock lens hoods?
Generally no. VND filters contain two glass elements rather than one, so they need to be made wider than other filters to minimize vignetting. As a result, they’ll usually prevent stock lens hoods from fitting.
What are the diffusion strength values for the Black Mist and the Gold Mist Filters?
- Black Mist (1/4) - subtle highlight halation while retaining deep blacks.
- Gold Mist (1/8) - even more subtle gold highlight rolloff.
