Will the Shift be available with resellers?
Yes - shipments should start to arrive with distributors and resellers by the end of January 2026.
Can I buy just one SHIFT Diopter, instead of the whole set?
At this time, we are offering the SHIFT filters as sets only.
Are the SHIFT Diopters better for photos, or for videos?
Both! The diopters change how close you'll be able to focus on your subject, which can be handy in a wide range of settings.
Can multiple SHIFT Diopters be stacked?
No. They are convex, so stacking them would end up causing distortion. The glass also sticks out past the front of the frame, so the diopters would end up colliding with each other. Given this is the case, the SHIFT Diopters have been designed without front threads.
Can I stack other filters with the SHIFT Diopters?
You can stack other filters behind the Diopter. The SHIFT just has to be the front element in any stack, since it won't accept anything else on top.
Do the SHIFT Diopters have a stop value?
Yes, they'll cut exposure by ~1.1 stops (45% transmission).
What's the magnification on each diopter?

Is the SHIFT Case waterproof?
It's not rated for submersion, but it's 600d nylon with a weather-resistant coating, so it should hold up against rain, snow, etc. without issue.
