What is the thread size of the Mini-MagLock filters?
These filters do not have any threading, they use a magnetic locking mechanism to attach to a base plate instead.
Are the Mini-MagLock filters stackable?
Yes, they are. Keep in mind that vignetting may occur in wide-angle setups if shooting with stacked filters.
Are the Mini-MagLock filters compatible with lens hoods?
No (this includes the MagFlip Hood). For this reason we created the dedicated Mini-MagLock Hood.
How are these filters different from the larger Helix MagLock models?
The size is the only difference. The materials and design elements are the same.
Is this filter series cross-compatible with the Helix MagLock series?
Not at this time.
Do the Mini MagLock VNDs and VND/PLs have haptic feedback at the numbered stops?
Yes!
Is the rotation of the polarizer on the VND/PL intended to have a high resistance?
Yes, this is to allow the stop value to be adjusted one-handed.
Is it possible to adapt my existing 49mm threaded filters to use the magnetic mount?
No, you'll need the dedicated Mini-MagLock filters.
